A New Look for Harrow Masonic Centre

The summer months often seem very quiet time in the masonic calendar. However, this is a time when temples and other centre facilities are quiet and therefore more available for refurbishment. The buildings where we meet during the year, as with any other venues, sometimes need to be worked on and brought back up to scratch.

This was the case for Harrow Masonic Centre over the summer this year. While we were all enjoying the sunny weather (now gone), the Harrow Masonic Centre was having a welcome facelift. Meetings have resumed, and visitors will no doubt be very pleased with the centre’s decoration. This includes the Mark temple, which we understand has been given a fresh new look, with a new coat of paint. Modern blinds have been added in the centre, replacing the old curtains. Even ornate electric candles have been added to modernise the temple, and to reduce the risk of fire.

Improvements have not stopped there. The anteroom has also received attention, with freshly painted walls, revarnished lockers and work surfaces, and with the addition of a new perspex surfaces, offering a warm and polished welcome appearance. This seems like a really big makeover !

The management of the centre are hoping that all of our Mark brethren will be looking forward to enjoying their Mark Masonry in the refreshed surroundings in Harrow, now that the new masonic year is upon us.
