As we approach the end of another very difficult year, it is worth taking a moment to reflect on the incredible resilience and commitment shown by the members of this wonderful Mark Province.
The pandemic has blighted the lives of a great many of our members and their families, but spirits have remained high and concern for others has brought us even closer.
I don’t need to tell you that we are far from being out of this disturbing period, but the signs are good, and the future is promising.
As we enter the new year, I would encourage you to get back into the swing of things and return to meetings but only if you are completely comfortable with doing that, there is no pressure on anyone or any lodge to return to physical meetings until 100% confidence is achieved either individually or collectively.
For those of you who are chomping at the bit we have a Burns night meeting involving a father advancing his son, bagpipes, and a guest PGM addressing the haggis.
This meeting will be at MMH on the 24th of January and is open to all members of the Province, bookings should be made either through the web site, the ProvGSec or the secretary of City of London lodge.
There will be more events throughout the year so please keep an eye on the web site for more details.
Finally, Brethren let me take this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a very Merry Christmas and a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year !
Provincial Grand Master.
