George Parker Lodge of Mark Master Masons – Huntswood Golf Club, 19th May 2022
Members of the Lodge and their guests had a corker of a day at our 1st Golf Day held at the Huntswood Golf course, Taplow, Buckinghamshire.
The day started with a Bacon Buttie and coffee at 8.15 the Members of the Lodge then held a Regular Meeting of the Lodge in our golf attire, whilst our guests enjoyed each other’s company and wondered what we were all doing.
After the Meeting we had more coffee and got ready for a great day of golf.
Teeing off at 9.30, the first of the 5 teams tee’ d off followed by the others.
The course conditions were lush and green, the weather was a beautiful day with plenty of sunshine.
The day produced the highest score of 41 points won by Steve Jones a Guest of the Worshipful Master, John Briggs.
The longest Drive was won by Ross Dent-Burnett, Son of Kevin Dent-Burnett, and nearest the pin was won by Kevin’s Son-In-Law Rob.
All the winners were NON MASON’s.
The next Golf Day will be played at the Coombe Hill Golf Course, Kingston upon Thames on the 16th June,
