Thank you letter from the Salvation Army

Dear Mr Garty
Thank you for forwarding the kind donation of £1,500.00 on behalf of the members of the Mark Province of Middlesex for the work of The Salvation Army.
We are most grateful and would ask you to convey our appreciation to all who contributed. Please accept this letter as our official receipt.

The funds have been allocated to our Cumbria House Lifehouse.

To know that you thought so warmly of us that you wanted to help us in our wonderful mission of caring for people in real need brings such joy to me, and all of us at The Salvation Army. At a time when we are so heavily dependent on donations to sustain us, your gift is so very welcome, and much needed. Be assured of my most sincere thanks, and immense gratitude for your kindness.

Your generous gift will enable us to bring hope into the lives of some of the most needy people you could imagine. Isolated older people will receive the comfort and friendship that we can provide thanks to you. Families who are facing grinding poverty will receive our practical help and support. And our drop-in centres and lifehouses will continue to support people who are homeless and have nothing. Your gift will help us do this day-in, day-out.

My best wishes for the new year, and my thanks again, for your kindness.
May God bless you.
Yours sincerely,

Lieut-Colonel Dean Pallant
On behalf of all the members of The Salvation Army
