During this Coronavirus pandemic, the Freemasons of Middlesex wish to make a difference to the lives of the wider members of our community, in particular the most vulnerable members who may be in distress, need or danger and require our help and support.
In a major initiative, the kitchen at the Harrow District Masonic Centre has been re-opened with some of the furloughed and volunteer staff, who are preparing pre-packed nutritious meals, which are being delivered to the Salvation Army centres at Harlesden, Harrow and Hayes and to the Harrow Voluntary & Community Sector Forum, for onward delivery to the beneficiaries they have identified as being in need of a daily hot meal.
The first 350 meals were delivered yesterday, and it is planned to deliver 2,000 to 3,000 meals per week, probably until the end of June 2020.
However, we need to raise money to cover the basic costs of the food, packaging and delivery – the fixed overhead costs are being funded by the Harrow District Masonic Centre – and we seek your urgent help for this cause by clicking on the following link and using the ‘Give Now’ button:

Donations can also be made by transfers from Lodge and Chapter Relief Chests to The Province of Middlesex Benevolent Fund, MCF Relief Chest No E0121 – Ref: Middlesex Covid Relief Appeal.
The more people who get to know about this initiative the better and greater the impact, so please spread the word by sharing this page with your friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
It will mean a lot to the beneficiaries we are seeking to support and will ‘make a real difference’ to their lives during this current crisis.
